The Statistical Analysis on the weather station, was created to show some of the advanced features of the DT800, and the LabVIEW™ environment.
The histogram feature of the DT800 was utilized. The histograms are updated everytime there is a reading on the defined channel, in this example it is updated once a second on the wind speed and wind direction. The picture control features of LabVIEW™ was then used to generate a wind rose, using the statistical data. There are a number of resources on the web, showing varying ways of displaying a wind rose.

There are many more statisitical operations available on the DT800, such as standard deviation, average, maximum, minumum, and even information on rainflow analysis.
